The ep was recorded with John Naclerio of Nada Recording who has credits with American Authors, Microwave, Imagine Dragons, Knuckle Puck, My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Polar Bear Club and dozens more. The five song ep, with love., blends elements of post-hardcore, rock and emo-adjacent sub-genres. Fans of bands like Movements, Circa Survive, Polar Bear Club, Thrice and Russian Circles gravitated towards the second single samsara. - now a crowd favorite. The band's sound is accessible and would fit comfortably on the lineup of When We Were Young Festival, Warped Tour, Riot Fest, or Louder Than Life.
After a series of headline shows in late 2025, with love. picked up "Best Rock” album at the Syracuse Area Music Awards, songs have consistently been featured on 95X (WAQX) in Syracuse, NY and earned the group support slots playing with Wheatus and Handguns in 2026.
On March 27, 2026 the band released dog eared. a stripped down track with guitar, vocals and minimal production elements. It’s a song with a quiet intensity about it, was prominently featured on Apple Music playlists alongside The Maine, The Academy Is…, Cartel, Escape The Fate and August Burns Red and the first look at work from the as yet untitled sophomore release. violet. continues to work with John Naclerio on the new material.
The band features Anthony Merritt (bass/vocals) and Curt Henry (guitar/vocals), both formerly of Honor Bright (Triple Crown Records & veterans of Warped Tour, Bamboozle, MTV), Gary Cole (vocals), Adam Raymonda (guitar, vocals), Daniel Boak (guitar, keyboard, vocals) and Jon Zella (drums).
